Challenge 1: International Cuisine Competition
Jeddah's cosmopolitan character means extraordinary F&B diversity — Filipino, Indian, Lebanese, Italian, Japanese, and Saudi cuisine all compete intensely. Generic 'restaurant Jeddah' campaigns are ineffective. Cuisine-specific, occasion-specific, and location-specific campaigns consistently outperform broad approaches.
Challenge 2: Corniche and Waterfront Premium
Jeddah's Red Sea Corniche creates a premium dining geography that commands different pricing and positioning to inland restaurants. Campaigns must reflect location-specific premium positioning for waterfront venues versus neighbourhood dining for inland establishments.
Challenge 3: Ramadan Entertainment Economy
Jeddah's Ramadan dining culture is exceptionally vibrant — the city effectively becomes a 24-hour entertainment economy during the holy month. Campaigns must dramatically increase budget and activate iftaar, suhoor, and entertainment-dining creative from the start of Ramadan.
